How to pack and ship an instrument
If you ever have to send your instrument, there are a couple of things to consider:

1. Preventing damage
a. When you ship an instrument make sure that it can't get damaged while in transport. The instrument should be packed firmly; it should not move inside the parcel.
b. Silver may tarnish or turn black when in contact with sulfa. Some plastic wraps contain sulfa and you will be surprised how old your instrument suddenly seems to be. Therefore, wrap a sheet of paper or cloth around the instrument before you wrap it inside bubble wrap.
