David Straubinger developed the Straubinger Pad in the 80s. It is a high quality pad primarily installed on high-end flutes. This can be a nice alternative for players who prefer the softer sound and touch of fish skin. Do to the fragile material we noticed that the durability and live time is limited compared to cork pads.
